Your profile is where people can learn more about you and what you offer on ELM. In addition this is where you can edit your public profile information, add your AlertPay email address, change your password, manage your email notification settings, and manage users you choose to block.

Editing Your Public Profile
Filling out the public profile should be straightforward, but there might be some areas where things aren't as clear.
Profile Type
Profile type is where the the user can specify their role on ELM (ie what are you). Below explains each of the roles. Choose the role that best describes you:
- Model: You are the subject of videos and photos
- Artist: You create content not featuring yourself
- Buyer: You are here to buy jobs
Full Name
Name should be the public name you want to be displayed (if it's different from your user name). You probably shouldn't put your real name unless you want to.
AlertPay Email Address
This field only needs to be filled out by providers who wish to withdraw credits they earn and to get paid. If a provider doesn't have an AlertPay account then they will need to create an account and and enter the email address they registered the AlertPay account with into this field.
Manage Photos
This section allows you to add or remove new profile photos
Select Default Photo
Once a photo or image is selected as default this image will be used as your thumbnail image throughout the website.
Seller Profile and Misc. Videos
Only verified sellers can include videos on their user profile. These videos show on their profile. There are 2 types of videos: Profile Videos and Misc Videos.
Profile Videos
Profile videos (aka introduction videos) are should be videos which feature the seller. This could be the seller talking about what type of content they make, who they are, etc... This is the place for sellers to put videos which highlight and showcase the seller. A seller can attach up to 4 profile videos.
Misc. Videos
This is where sellers can attach up to 4 different videos of whatever they like. This could be music videos, funny clips, cute clips, etc... Anything they want to include.
How to Attach Profile Videos
All videos featured on the profile are not hosted by ELM. We currently allow sellers to attach videos either from [Youtube http://www.youtube.com/] or [Dailymotion http://www.dailymotion.com/]. Keep in mind Youtube is not nudity friendly so any videos that you upload there be sure they are safe for work. If you want to offer "sexier" videos Dailymotion is a better alternative.
To attach videos to your profile:
- On your own profile click the "edit profile" link
- Scroll down to either the Personal Videos section or the Misc Videos section
- Find the video on youtube or dailymotion that you want to attach. Copy the url / link from your browser bar
- Paste the link / url into the space labeled "link"
- Write a description about the video in the space labeled "Description"
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and clic the "Save Changes" Button

Setting Your Default Profile Video
For profile videos you can set one video that will show up at the top of your user profile and show up in your seller snapshot area. You can do this in the edit profile screen. Next to the linked video you have added there's a circular radio button that you can select. Select the video you want to use as your profile video and then click save.
Suggested Guidelines for Profile Videos
- Shoot for 1 to 2 minutes in length
- Let your personality shine through
- Highlight who you are and some of the types of jobs/work you can do
