How to Redeem

• Login or Register for an Extra Lunch Money Account (it’s free)
• Find a seller that you would like to text message with (view sellers who offer text message)
• On the “text me” tab for that user’s profile page click the “verify your phone number” button and go through the phone verification process (this connects your personal phone to ELM’s system) 
• After you successfully verify your phone contact us through our customer support widget (the thing in the lower right hand corner that looks like this) or email us ([email protected]) and let us know your username. ONLY After we confirm via email, should you proceed to the next step 
• The verification button you previously clicked will now say “Connect to this Seller”. Click this button.
• Once you click the “Connect” button you will not be deducted 3 credits like you normally would, but instead you will be given 2 free credits to use (since you contacted us with your username).
• Use your free credits to text message your seller

• You MUST message us with your username and wait for us to reply to redeem this offer
• You can only connect with one seller for free and once you do you will receive 2 credits
• After 30 days you will be charged 3 credits a month if you want to continue text messaging with the seller
• Each text message sent is subject to the seller’s set text price
• Standard text messaging fees apply and only available to US based phones
• System only works with SMS messages (can’t send videos, pictures, etc…)
