How to Make Money Like the Top Models on ELM
We regularly receive messages from sellers on why they aren’t selling as many products as they think they should. Here is a list of questions of what you should ask yourself when selling on ELM. Many top sellers can already check these items off but some of these “top sellers” have been at it for YEARS and have quite the experience, so don’t be too overwhelmed. Being successful at selling is not an overnight thing and if anybody tells your otherwise, it could be a scam.
If you’re working at each aspect listed below and connecting with your customer base as well as sellers in this industry, you should be fine. Here’s the ever changing and growing checklist:
- Do You Produce quality content? – This should be a given but it’s really not. Content should have nice sample images and if you have an animated gif, even better. - Are You On Twitter? – Many of our top sellers have 200+ (and many with over 5-10 thousand) followers and communicate regularly with their fans. This includes tweeting out sexy pictures and interesting articles related or not related to themselves. Twitter is a great way to connect with new customers and others in your field who you can learn from. Many of our sellers also connect with each other, offering sexy and awesome cross promotions.
- Are You active on Tumblr? - Do you even have a Tumblr account? Top sellers also have their own blog. Many use Tumblr.com because its so easy to share hot photos of yourself and other people their. Their “reblog” feature is useful. Having your own blog or tumblr also allows you another way to attract a following of fans and potential customers.
- Do You Have Good Customer Service? – If you want to have repeat buyers. Play nice. Respond to their questions, thank them after they purchase and connect with them on other platforms such as twitter and tumblr. This way they will know when you have new and awesome content out and will check it out.
- Do You Promote Yourself on Other Platforms? – Many sellers on ELM also promote their ELM Page on their other websites which helps them bring more customer to their purchase pages and profiles on ELM. Some of these platforms where sellers list their ELM pages include MyFreeCams, Tumblr, Twitter, MyPornProfile.com, and other websites and forums.
- Do You Post Often Enough? - Top sellers post regularly and often so their content stays fresh on the website. This always helps.
- Are Your Jobs Reasonably Priced? Don’t be surprised if your 5 pictures for 50 credits don’t sell too well.

- Do You Give Away Free Content? This is what you’re essentially doing when you post images of yourself on twitter/tumblr/blogs and other platforms. This allows your fans to get a taste of the quality and build a connection with you before deciding to buy your “real” content. Do you have to do all of the above to make money selling nudes?
Nope. In fact, we have great sellers that don’t even use Twitter or Tumblr. They just produce good content or satisfy a popular niche. Some don’t even post much but when they do, they sell well because they have a strong following. Some have mediocre content but post often and still make sales. But these sellers are far and few between.
Another caveat is that ELM allows you to sell products and earn credits passively. Meaning after you post a good product, photo set, or video as an instant download, you can make money without too much hustling. If it sells great, if it doesn’t, oh well, its not much extra work to leave the product on the website just in case it does sell.
